JCL asked Jerry B. Jenkins:

Does age make a difference when writing? (Like adults make better stories than kids e.t.c.)

Jerry B. Jenkins No, I’ve never seen an agent or an acquisitions up from reading a manuscript and ask, “How old if this writer?” The story is king. It either works or it doesn’t. That said, sometimes a younger person’s lack of experience will show in the logic of a story or in the writing itself, like putting a period after each letter of “etc.” for example. :)
