is there any explicit violence? is the violence consistant throughout and hard to skim over?

urwa a lot of gore, there are graphic descriptions of how Lore's family (her baby sisters) were killed that really upset me. But it depends on how much violence you can take. For me, gruesome depictions of the murder of young children is a bit too much, but you can skim through it
the bard a fair amount of gore, a lot of it is after-the-fact, though. personally, it was fine for me, and i'm fifteen, so take that how you will. the violence is happening almost constantly, but again, most of it isn't too bad.
Aamrah I think its digestible. I have read books which leaves the readers traumatised.. its not like those
Lyria Yes, the majority of the book takes place during the agon which is basically 7 days of warfare and assassinations.
