Do you know the editing was horrible? It drove me crazy all the misplaced words! I was going to give Semi/Human 3 stars, but the story was too good for 3, so I gave 4. But, really, the editor should be fired. There is simply no excuse for so many obvious errors. Of course, if they edited for free, I guess you get what you pay for. I read the Kindle version. Is there some way to go in and clean it up?

I'm so sorry to hear that pulled you out of the story, Sherrill. It went through at least two edits from a copy-editor and proofreader. (I can't remember if there was a third).
