Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Shaylene King I love reading fairytales and the retelling of stories like Cinderella. I remember reading a bible story to my kids one day when they were little and thought it read a lot like a retelling of a fairytale but it was a true story. That made me think how fun it would be to write a retelling of a bible stories.
