asked:
why does goodreads state that Evola is a "superfascist", when this book includes his defence against charges of fascism, where he states clearly he is a traditionalist in the pre french revolution sense?

He likely meant 'beyond Fascism' when he said he was a super-Fascist

Evola was asked if he was a fascist in court once post WWII and he responded that he was a "super-fascist". At the time the Nuremberg trials were still well in the public conscience and as Alfred Rosenberg was murdered for having written material found distasteful to the victors it can be assumed that Evola's response was in defiance to a thinly veiled threat.
