Hi! I love your books and you are one of my favorite authors! I have a dream to be an author just like you. I really want to know how you make such great books and if you have any tips I could use? Thanks a lot! :)

I actually have a bunch of tips for writers - including 50 videos! - on my website, aprilhenry.com.
If you want to be a writer,
1. Read a lot and think about how the author is making you hate a book (easier) or love it (harder)
2. Write a lot and think about your writing. Set a piece aside for at least two weeks, then read it outloud and edit. Good writing is re-writing.
3. Never give up. It's not necessarily the best writer who gets published. If you are half way decent and don't give up, you will eventually get published. But like me, it might be 10 years from when you first finish a novel to when you finally see a novel (in my case, my fourth) in a bookstore.

This is not a question really, but i just wanted to say that I love love love love love your books!!!! Also, i got to meet you before school ended! I was so glad! In one of my books you said that there would be a TV show of Girl, Stolen - is that true? And could you come to our school again? You are one of my fav authors, and i cant wait to meet you again!!
