Kristy smith I personally think you can't pin them against eachother... the show is about the whole family, you have so many different dramatic plots added (the pr…moreI personally think you can't pin them against eachother... the show is about the whole family, you have so many different dramatic plots added (the prince, the queen, the whole featheringtons plot) and a lot more characters go more in depth in the show (lady danbury, Eloise, Colin & marina) so to me the book was a lot more if not fully about the romance between Simon and Daphne (and almost all the scenes they had in the show are different from the book) so I personally would say yes the book is better than the show purely because its about their romance and not everyone else's things :)(less)
