Well this depends on your 15 year old and what levels of depravity you are willing to let them experience vicariously. The main character is sexually molested before she is even a preteen and it is described pretty graphically. She becomes addicted to tranquilizers as a child and an alcoholic as an adult. She remains emotionally aloof from almost all people in her life but has consensual sex with multiple partners that is described. Also the first time she gets her period is described. All things to take into consideration given your particular potential reader.
