Goodreads asked Utanu Maa:

How do you get inspired to write?

Utanu Maa Life in general inspires me. In my book, I talk about a personal life experience from childhood as an orphan after me and my brother lost our mother at a very early age (3 and 6 months), to a successful adulthood after overcoming challenges, and sadly the death of my brother to HIV/AIDS, the pain, grief that ensued, the resilience built through gratitude. Gratitude is the ability to know how to count your blessings, no matter how small, short or vanished they are, and be thankful that you did have them. Then gratitude will lead you to become resilient.
