Elizabeth Faustina
Elizabeth Faustina asked Trinity Vinton:

What inspires you to write?

Trinity Vinton Everything around me. Nature. Beauty. The Present. The Past. People. Outlooks. Lives. Stories. Friends. Family. Creatures. Things unseen by the human eye. Phenomena. Being. Living. Hearing. Seeing. I draw inspiration from all of these. I'm what some folks would call the very likeness of G.K. Chesterton's "Romantic in the Rain" --the sort of person who finds joy and beauty in a mud puddle. I can't say as I take much joy in the bitter cold of the outdoors in stark wintertime, unless I take precaution to steel my mind against the wind's bitter, biting teeth and think rather of the glittering and ephemeral beauty of snow. I have found that the warmer months provide for a better stock of inspiration for the imagination, as they are much more colorful. But yes, it is entirely the things that God, the Author of the authors, has created, from which I draw my inspiration.
