I like to come here and see what readers think of my books, especially right after they release. I sometimes "like" reviews I've read, but I hardly every comment because I feel like a reader's opinion should be sacred to them and not challenged by the author. Writing is art and art is subjective, but I still like to read people's thoughts about my work. I've actually learned a lot about how to improve by reading reviews. I used to read the negative reviews, but I think I've gotten to a point in my career where I know how and what I want to write, so now I mostly filter out the negative reviews and only read positive ones.
I only read reviews on Goodreads. I don't know why. I hardly ever read reviews left on other platforms.
