Hello, Colleen. I have read all of your books and rated them all 5 stars except Layla (paranormal is not exactly what I love) and just wanted to complain that why aren't any of your books in production? I'm pretty sure all of your American fans and international (an Indian, here) would make it a blockbuster in theatres. I read about Ugly love with Nick Bateman but it was never fully produced.

Confess became a mini-series, but that is the only one that's come to fruition. I've sold several rights to films that never panned out. It's really hard to make it through every step of the film process. It's not that I don't want my books to become movies, but I really have no control. Film rights are only sold to the producers for a certain amount of time. If contractual agreements aren't met in that time, the rights revert back to the author. So Ugly Love is not owned by a producer at this time. There are four of my books in pre-production right now and two of them seem promising, so I'm crossing my fingers that it happens. But I'm also not holding my breath because it's stressful and I'd rather focus on books than the film side of it all.

Just finished Regretting You - it was fantastic! It was so hard (at points) to read because of all that raw emotion if felt throughout - that's how you know its a good book! I was wondering what we can expect next? I know you've hinted at something paranormal - does that mean something in the realm of vampires/werewolves?? It honestly doesn't matter what it is, i'm sure I'll love it just as much as everything else!
