Goodreads asked Cady North:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Cady North You don't necessarily need to find a way to write something every day, like the common advice says. You can also write when the mood strikes or you can set deadlines for yourself. I often like to switch locations from the couch to an outdoor park, to the patio, etc. This helps trick my brain to focus on writing in a different way and I feel that creativity flows better. I definitely don't write every day. But when I do write, I tackle a lot in one sitting. That's what works best for me.
