Colleen Hoover:
I've read all of your books and i'm a big fan. There is something that i wanted to ask you for a long time, since i have read Hopeless, November 9 and Confess, characters in these books are connected in the past. for example in hopeless, holder hides his past from sky. In November 9 Ben hides his past from Falloon and in confess Owen hides his past from auburn. And all these books are pretty same. why is that?

(view spoiler)[I have a thing for mysterious men. ;) Nothing about the plots of these books are similar though, other than secrets being kept by some of the characters. You can't really write a novel without drama or secrets or something that will tear the couple apart at some point in the novel. These are the things plot points consist of.
Some of my books rely on twists outside of the couple. Some are books with people who just met. I've written over twenty-three novels, so after a while, you're going to find that my writing style and maybe even some of my favorite themes can be felt over each book. Mysterious Heroes are definitely a favorite of mine, so you'll probably find that a lot of my romance novels contain men who aren't quite transparent like Graham in All Your Perfects or Will in Slammed or Sagan in Without Merit.
