Hello, I just noticed that all the covers have a snake. Is this snake important somehow? (There isn't snake in the Czech version, so it took me a little longer than I noticed that)

Kevin Sands The snake was added to The Blackthorn Key cover as a symbol of danger and deception. When Mark of the Plague's cover was being designed, we decided to include another snake, since that book was also full of danger and deception—and since all the books are like that, we've kept the snake as a common element of all the covers. Beyond that, there's no direct relevance to the stories.
