Julianne A man named James Royce married another man named James Royce and they changed their names to James Royce Royce.
Marian Miller One of my favorite things in the book. Hilarious.
Joelle Hawes One of my favourite things re-reading this book was understanding which James Royce-Royce was speaking at any given time.
Sky Brock Two men who happened to both be named James Royce met and got married and decided to hyphenate. So like, if someones named Lilly Collins and Mark Jones married and hyphenated, they’d now be Lilly Collins-Jones and Mark Collins-Jones. And so when James Royce and James Royce married, they became James Royce-Royce and James Royce-Royce.
Audrey This is a double-barrelled name, common among wealthy British people (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-...). While an extreme (and hilarious) example, the James Royce-Royces aren't at all the first to have the same name multiple times in their barrells—see for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_...
