Kim Letson My first book ends with a scene from camel trekking in the Moroccan Sahara:
---- The cadence of our steps - Ishmael's, Pat's and mine - blends with the whispers of the desert wind slipping through dry tamarisk branches, moving trillions of grains of sand across the land.
Into this chorus, Ishmael adds, "You, too, are Nomads." ----
In that moment I knew the theme of my next book - Soul of a Nomad.
