I found it pretty distracting in the first half of the book -- like, it was blatant enough that it drew attention to itself. In addition to a lot of erotic angles early on, there's (small spoiler) one chapter that focuses on a monster inappropriately groping a student (though presumably this is not actually felt or noticed by anyone, including the oblivious student).
