Hi Tanisha, it's all about how you misdirect your readers - you have to make them believe the wrong thing, and then you can shock them with the twist you planned all along! Slip in really important details in passing and make unimportant things seem really exciting, and most readers won't notice what you're up to ...

Hello! I wrote to you in April and asked about a scene in a Spoonful of Murder that talked about something that happened at Uncle Felix’s Wedding. I asked if you would write about this in another collection, and you said you couldn’t tell me till summer, but you thought I’d be pleased.
