I think, it is an unsent Celia`s letter to Lotiie (the letters are mentioned by Guy in the very end). I interpret it as follow: "The day that I told you I was pregnant (which was a lie), I peelled apples to figure out if I should be with Guy, and it never turned out to be a "G", so we were not meant to be together, me and Guy"
