Jana asked R.L. Mathewson:

I've been reading some of your books, quite like them. Yet I'm surprised at the number of spelling & grammatical errors, which should've caught the eye of a good editor? Here are a few: wrong use of affect vs effect continuous mistakes in the use of to lay vs to lie, and lying vs laying wrong use of small words like 'to' or 'it' omission of words like 'be' or 'being' 'went' vs 'gone'.

R.L. Mathewson Hi, Jane,

When I first started out, writing was honestly just a means of escape from a horrible situation. I had several people who volunteered to help me, knowing the situation, and they did the best that they could. Over the years, the books have been updated and fixed along the way. I am actually working with a professional editor now and we are tearing apart every single book to get them where they should be. It's why I've held off on putting all the books into print. They should all be fixed in a few months. At that point, everyone that has the books will be able to a get a free updated version of each book as they are fixed and uploaded.
