Rogue Blackwood
Rogue Blackwood asked Jason Arnopp:

Just finished The Last Days of Jack Sparks and am excited to read Ghoster next! I was curious, do you use Save the Cat Beats to outline or edit your novels/scripts? Thanks!

Jason Arnopp Hi there Rogue! Thanks for asking this question - and for reading Sparks! I don't use any specifically-branded structure, but then again they're all based on much the same 'beginning, middle and end' principles. :) So while planning a story, I'm very much aware of the classic three-act structure, and pay special attention to the midpoint. As you may remember, Sparks is literally in two parts, and so is Ghoster, actually. So I end up with a four-act structure, with what amounts to a two-part second act, if that makes sense! Hope you have a good time with Ghoster, if you do check that one out. I consciously used more of a mystery thriller format for that one...
