How do you get inspired to write?

A.D. Davies It's always been my dream, but like so many people I kind-of pottered around the idea for such a long time - getting short stories published, drafting outlines, writing a third of a novel - but in the past couple of years I've really hammered at it, thought of it like a business. Thinking of it that way, of forging a career, of achieving my childhood dream of having strangers read my words and get enjoyment from them - what more inspiration do I need?
