How do you get inspired to write?

T.B. Wayne Well I didn't write anything from 1996 on. I had a college professor tell me that a writing assignment was too good, that a dumb Marine couldn't have written that and wanted to know who I had plagiarized from. That's a lot of years of pent up storytelling so I have not had any problem with inspiration yet. I have another 5 books planned in this series, one novelette and then I have ideas for three more series. I have a Shaolin style martial arts series planned, a superhero series and a sci fi space opera planned.
