What was your reaction when company's sought to make your book into a movie? Were you happy with the results? do you believe your book is still relevant today?

I'm still thrilled that ELLA ENCHANTED became a movie, because it continues to bring readers to the book. Fairy tales are timeless, and ELLA will continue to be relevant as long as people have to do what they don't want to. We're all under a curse of obedience!

I've always loved your retelling of classic fairytales, and I'm excited to read "Ogre Enchanted". I've never heard of "The False Prince and the True" before, but now that I looked it up, I like it a lot. Do you have a favorite fairy tale that you haven't been able to use in your books yet? Do you ever read other author's retellings and feel "I could do that better" or "Now I can't use that one"?
