You are my favorite author and I read My Life Next Door and What I Thought Was True and they are both so amazing but I'm a little hesitant to read from the boys point of view it's just a little weird too me. -Mia

Huntley Fitzpatrick Hi Mia,

First, thank you so much--it's a huge honor to be on someone's favorite list and I really appreciate it, and the rest of your kind words.

I understand your hesitation, believe me. Are you speaking of THE BOY MOST LIKELY TO? If so, if it helps, it's dual POV, alternating Tim and Alice Garrett. I was a little hesitant to write from the boy POV, but the funny thing is, it's Tim, I know that boy. He was/is a pleasure to write. I think his feelings and experiences are pretty universal in this book (hopefully not the actual struggle with drinking, but the feelings and thoughts that put him where he is). Alice was actually harder to write, funnily enough. But I am happy with how it came out. So, bottom line, I get your worries. I hope you will give the book a chance anyway.

And thank you, it means a lot that you wrote to me with your concerns and your kindness.

Warmly,

Huntley
