Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Audra Russell My idea for Blood Land came when I visited a plantation here in Maryland and my daughter saw a man in the window of the old plantation home. When we went to the visitor's center and asked how we get in the home, they said it has been boarded up for years because it is structurally unsound. My daughter and I looked at each and the man at the information desk said "you saw him, didn't you?" And the idea for Blood Land was born!
