Maryvfitz The note was slipped under the door and that was it, And they made the effort to go down and he doesn’t see them for four days?

Penny See page 293, the hotel was evacuated which likely means they flew home to Houston.

Kerry They left after 5 days into their trip because the hotel was evacuating. It seems that they got them out before travel became a problem. That is what I am assuming, it mentioned it at the end of "Ellen's" section of the book.
