How does Harry get the Marauder's Map back from Mad-Eye (Barty Crouch Jr.) after he took it from him?

Thinking about it Harry was prob in too much trauma at the time to think about taking his nap back.

I think JKR had mixed feeling about it and afraid that it would lead to plot holes or difficulties in the future. Bit weird as Crouch mentioned the map and what it does in front of snape under the truth serum (Veritaserum) - snape would’ve probably been keen to know given his suspicions about Harry’s mysterious parchment (the map) before.

Maybe Snape confiscated the map? (less)
