I read The One and Only Ivan many years ago and sort of forgot almost all the details. Do I need to re-read it to understand this book?

Tyler Sceurman Try to look back at parts of it. It talks about it in here but it doesn't give it all so what I would do is find the parts that are important and collab them into this to understand it more clearly if you forgot. But, It does mention it.
