Toni Nelson I thought it was pretty PG, but the main character's best friend does like to swear, but she doesn't do it outright to avoid her parent's fury. She says things like, "What the elf?" instead. She does, at one point, state that one of the boys is "totally faxable," which I feel is a little obscene for younger readers.
Paige Turner For a young adult novel, this book surprisingly has very little inappropriate content, and is mostly clean.
iamnihitha Nope! You're good! While the novel delves into some mature topics and has a very intricate and wonderful plot, it was no actually explicit content.
Sophia There is a fair amount of explitives but in terms of inappropriate content and lack thereof, it is very clean.
Reed Nope. It's extremely tame. I teach 8th graders and what they read is dramatically more explicit. For example several students read "Verity" by Colleen Hoover or "Looking for Alaska" by John Green.
Novel Notices For anyone else wondering, no, I wouldn't say there is anything explicit in here.
