(view spoiler)[Hi Sebastian, I finished the spellslinger series (Brilliant) and have now started Traitor's Blade. I was wondering that since the greatcoats and traitors blade are set in the same universe just different continents. And since the Ebony Abbey is on a different one from Kellens, and possibly also a different one from Falcio's (Don't know the continents name yet.) whcih one is closer to the Abbey? (hide spoiler)]
Sebastien de Castell
If Eldrasia (the continent on which the Spellslinger series takes place) was North America (though a lot smaller) and Tristia & Avares (the island on which the Greatcoats series takes place) was the United Kingdom, then Obscaria (the island where Soulbinder takes place) would be Iceland. So in that sense they're almost equidistant, though Obscaria is technically closer to Tristia.

I have read so many amazing, highly detailed, intricate character building novels that there are months out of every year I question ever finding a novel I can give an honest 4 or 5 star rating to. I've asked myself, "am I ruined for all books?" Then occasionally I come across such gems...like your Greatcoat novels... and I am satisfied.I thank you good sir, for providing what book lovers of my type need and fiend for

This isn't even a question, so I'm sorry if that annoys you, but I wanted to say I think your books are amazing. I just finished Knight's Shadow (literally just finished - what, a minute ago?) and it was incredible. I love the complexity and differing shades of morality and all of the different characters. I don't have much more to say (I'm not particularly eloquent when sending stuff to amazing authors apparently).

Hi! I've recently started the Spellslinger series (and by "started" I mean I've absolutely torn through the first three and am now desperately waiting for a chance to buy the fourth), and I have to ask: if, somehow, the main characters from the Spellslinger and Greatcoats series wound up in the same place, who do you think would get along with who (and, conversely, would anyone be at each other's throats)?
