Goodreads asked Ahimsa Kerp:

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

James Mullins
James Mullins asked Ahimsa Kerp:

The genre has been overdone in a present tense setting. It is refreshing to see a story set in the past. To my knowledge there are 3 zombie books set with a Roman/Byzantine backdrop. The other 2 Zombies of Byzantium and Scourge of Byzantium both associated the infection with an Islamic invasion or the replacement of an Islamic invasion with zombies. What gave you the idea to set your story when you did vs. later on?
