So I'm about 25% into the story and it's starting to lose me. Please tell me does it get better? I was hooked at the beginning and loved all the descriptions but now I'm wondering if things are going to move forward in the plot? Should I keep going? Give up? Thank you!

The Sudden Appearance of Hope, by Claire North, does this idea better but with no deals with the devil.(less)
