So I'm about 25% into the story and it's starting to lose me. Please tell me does it get better? I was hooked at the beginning and loved all the descriptions but now I'm wondering if things are going to move forward in the plot? Should I keep going? Give up? Thank you!

It could very easily have been shortened by leaving out some of the historical parts, but some of those parts are there to show how resourceful she had to be to survive. I loved this fresh new concept of completely being forgotten. I was really hooked as soon as she met Henry. (less)
