Hi! I was wondering if you have ever done NaNoWriMo? And if you ever have, do you think it's a good way to start boosting writing consistency (I'm planning to do 10k)?

Stuart Gibbs Since I have official deadlines for my books, it doesn't really make sense for me to do NaNoWriMo (which I don't think became a thing until after I started being published). I am all for anything that gets people motivated to write -- although I have an issue with the idea of word targets, which I don't think are very helpful. You should be trying to write the best story possible, not a story that is a certain number of words. (Although that is only my opinion.)
