Ronnie asked this question about The Choice: The Abortion Divide in America:
is the title of this book ironic or is just me? this book isn't about making choices. it is definitely attempting to make a choice for you. this isn't about the divide in America concerning abortion either. If it was, it was would be nonpartisan/impartial. This is just a book that demonizes the left and attacks women's rights. This book only furthers the divide and is gonna change literally 0 minds. smh...
Ronnie note: if you are gonna read one book about abortion, do NOT make it this one. I'm not saying find a pro-choice one. Find a legitimately 100% impartial…morenote: if you are gonna read one book about abortion, do NOT make it this one. I'm not saying find a pro-choice one. Find a legitimately 100% impartial one that approaches BOTH sides of this *very* real divide in a fair, empathetic, and nuanced way.

I mean seriously, how is demonizing a majority of the country (read: there are more registered democrats than republicans iirc) gonna change anyone's mind. anti-abortion people may agree though some may agree this tactic to support an anti-abortion mindset is fairly terrible as it's only gonna repulse people are pro-choice, and - again - not change any minds. You don't wanna write like an antagonist in your rhetoric. You should try for a more protagonist-like tone for your cause. People are more likely to listen to heroes versus villains - for obvious reasons.(less)
