Actually no, but if you want to keep up philosophy in chronological order, I suggest you do so.
Sapiens is about the past, how human developed and became hosts of the planet, Deus is about future some probabilistic outcomes that may be from our actions. Some ideas from Sapiens reapeated in Deus, but it does not mean one should read Sapiens then Deus.(less)
