I just finished the last book of the series. I'm just not satisfied with the mysterious disappearance of Isaac. What happened to Isaac when they were burying the puppy. Did he get kidnapped or did they just leave him there to wander around. I really want to know since I read all 3 books.

My understanding he was kidnapped as he remembers sitting in the back seat of a car with a big man driving. As he is headed back to Paradise he remembers some of the places he drove through as having been to them before. He remembers being told not to cry or yell or he would be put into the trunk, It also mentions they as if he was not the only kid with this guy. Pg144,145 of the Brethran.
