I just want to thank you for the book When She Was Good. I just finished it and didn't want to put it down. It haunted my dreams at night and invaded my thoughts during the day. I loved Evie and couldn't wait to learn more about her. I got it in a giveaway from Goodreads and have to admit that it was one of the best giveaway books I've read in a very long time. I'll be checking out more of your books in the future. ?

Thanks Jodi. I think Evie is perhaps the most fascinating character I've ever written. There is so much explore about her life - and what sort of future she can have with a 'curse' like hers. She haunts my dreams as well because I want to find some way of making her happy.

I had to stop reading at one point because I didn't like where I thought the story was heading in the sense it might be too horrific or too sad. I was pleased to see the story went differently to my assumptions. I thoroughly liked the way the characters were developed and their issues and problems respected. Great introduction to Cyrus. I look forward to his new journey will there be one?
