Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Carol Grace Stratton I spent two years in an autistic classroom and knew I had to write about the kids. They are unique but misunderstood as are their overworked, underappreciated parents. I dedicated "Lake Surrender" to a family who succeeded raising four children, the last one with autism that has disrupted their lives. I take my hat off to them!

Secondly, I have a warm spot for Christian camps. My life changed at one of them. God can get ahold of a person when they step out of their daily routine and into a peaceful setting like Lake Surrender.
