Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Shelleen Weaver I have mockingbirds in my backyard. Their concerts are AMAZING! One night,(I kid you not) my mom and I listened to one sounding off for over 45 minutes (well past midnight). It dawned on me (ok, pun intended!) that the other birds were sleeping, or at least trying to, and I wondered if what was glorious to my ears, was annoying to the other backyard birds who would be rising early to go about their busy day. We all have people in our lives that are sometimes hard to love. And this bird made me giggle as I thought about that.
