Just curious- did you have another interlude planned before quarantine started, and if so, will we see that story someday? Also, thank you for mentioning the Ocean Roc, I NEED Rune to save it!

Trust me, I won't forget the Ocean Roc, though it may take longer to save it than originally planned..... You can only fit so much in 125,000 words, much to my daily frustration.....
As for other material: Scenes from Quarantine happened after HANGED MAN, and a few months before the events of THE HOURGLASS THRONE. I am planning another.....well, SOMETHING.... before HOURGLASS THRONE is available (assuming it's late summer or next fall or winter). I just don't know what it will be, how long, or if it'll be free. I tend to make novellas and novelettes and short stories free; but if I end up doing something more substantial, I may self-publish digitally for a modest cost?
And if you want a hint about something more substantial I could write for a modest cost? Let's just say I've got a massive craving to write a novel-length Magnus Academy story............ I just really, really want to write a standalone book about Max, Quinn, Anna, and Tavis.

Why is this book so expensive as compared to other new authors in similar genres? Is this a publisher’s decision? That wouldn’t be a problem for me if it was a known author... an author that I know well. Octavia Butler - I’m dropping the dough. Octavia... Tanith... Life is too short.

Hi KD, I was wondering if you would ever make any sort of story or novella prequel to TTS? I think it would be interesting to see how Rune and Brand ended up with the Tower, their training, and adjusting to life under their new circumstances. It sounds a bit... depressing, though. Anyway, I love the series very much and admire the amount of care and detail that you put into it. Cannot wait for the Hourglass Throne!
