Not about the book. I'm 12 and I really don't know my sexuality but as a kid who identifies as straight, is it weird that I like LGBTQ books? All the LGBT books I've read (Simon Vs. The Homo-sapiens Agenda but I have some at my local library) are really touching. So is it weird?

I know I'm 2 years late but whatever - I can relate. I felt the same way as a kid - I still do, as a straight-identifying female figure. I love bl and m/m romance and there is nothing wrong with that. Still, you can explore your identity and self or/and stay the way you want without being ashamed with your book/other prefrences. Sorry. I'm terrible at advice.

Not at all ! There are plenty of straight folks out there who happen to like LGBTQ+ books. These books tend to have some kind of a special touch to them ( at least that's what i have noticed) . Also, if you've read the LGBTQ+ classics you must have noticed how most of them tend to have a sad ending. I assume it could be the reasoning behind people's interest in them. These books are often written in a way that touches your heart. :)
