The series technically is all stand alone, in my opinion. Each book has its own two leads, and by the next book, they are side characters. That means by the time you are hitting the final books, you have side characters who are *finally* main characters and you have old main characters acting as side characters, who you already like and get to see often.
So, yeah, more Indy and Lee will be part of the series. However, it is only background side character information.
