It doesn't work quite like that. Corin's mana purification function works on the mana in his own body, and his attunement gives him access to push mana into other people, since it's considered "safe".
Attunements have defenses against having their mana stolen, much like Corin notes that certain items (including some he makes) have security features to prevent them from being altered. Taking mana out of someone else's body is a different function than adding mana, one that Corin's attunement does not currently give him access to bypass the security features for.

Hi there! I did have a question regarding mana growth, and enchanting (in particular a system for Corin to power level). Does mana capacity only increase after expending naturally regenerated mana, or would a mana gauntlet allow someone to potentially power level? Further, could Corin potentially use the gauntlet to charge a higher level rune, by channeling the full amount over a longer period of time?
