Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Joe Long "Wisdom and Folly" developed over a period of years, but I think I can credit Rudyard Kipling with the putting the idea in my head. Several of his poems ("The Thousandth Man", "A Servant When He Reigneth", "The Press", even "Boots") were inspired by, or allude to, Bible passages, and each made a strong impression on me.
