Which character do you miss most? And which were you most excited to see living, breathing, walking on a premium cable screen?

Matt Ruff The characters I miss most from the novel are probably Hippolyta and Ruby. They were the most fun for me to write (Letitia is a close third) and their story arcs leave the most interesting unanswered questions. (Will Hippolyta go back to Warlock Hill and rescue Ida? What’s Ruby going to do when her supply of the potion runs out?)

As far as the HBO show, I really don’t have a favorite yet. The casting choices all seem excellent, and my overall level of excitement at seeing the story come to life is so high that even the props and locations are thrilling. (“Look – it’s Woody the station wagon! And there’s Denmark Vesey’s bar!”)
