I'm currently reading the Jackrabbit Junction series and I find it curious that nobody has a cellphone. Any particular reason? Just curious 🙂

They eventually do have cell phones, but initially Claire doesn’t because she doesn’t have a job and is tight on money. So is Ronnie. On top of it, cell service isn’t the best in Jackrabbit Junction.

I am rereading the entire series before I read 10 for the first time. I am currently in book 2, and I remember the missing ice quotes throughout the second book. I know it's a triviality, but why were the ice trays always missing? It's not answered in any of the later books. Where IS the missing ice? Did Lila melt it with her angry eyes?
