Hello! I just have a quick question. Do you do much planning when writing your stories? I am writing a book of my own and I have found that some people do little to no planning while others spend ages finding the smallest details. I was just wondering what your process is since I have always admired your writing. Thank you, have a nice day!

Rhys Bowen I don’t do much plotting ahead of time. I know the setting where I want the story to take place. I do my research ahead of time . I think about my characters and I know more or less what I would like to happen. Then I let them get on with it! This sounds daunting for a new writer but I have written a lot of books and found out what works for me by now. You’ll probably need a structure of what needs to happen in each chapter to begin with.
